- Product interaction data (for example basic engagement signals like app opens and ad interactions)

2) Location
Night Compass uses your device’s location to provide app functionality (finding nearby places and showing directions).
- Location is used on-device to power the compass/distance features.
- When you tap directions, Apple Maps (or a maps service) may receive location and destination data to provide routing.
How We Use Data
We use the data described above for:
- Third-party advertising (showing ads via AdMob and measuring ad performance)
- Analytics (understanding general usage and performance at a high level)
- App functionality (operating core features, reliability, security, and troubleshooting)
Tracking and App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
When required, the app will request permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- If you allow tracking, AdMob may use device identifiers and related data to provide personalized ads and measurement.
- If you do not allow tracking, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads and limit certain tracking-related uses.
Is Data Linked to Your Identity?
Some data may be linked to a device or app instance identifier (for example, for advertising measurement, fraud prevention, or diagnostics). We do not require accounts and we do not directly collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app.
